Swimmers Aspirations

I always structure the team to what I aspire for this team to be. The problem, the swimmers aren't on the same page with me. I might have expected too much out of the swimmers in the past, so I am going to listen to what the swimmers have to say.

Please fill out the form that is the button to the right or just click here

Please put your indivdual or team goals on the form. Put down what you expect out of the team, and what you hope to accomplish.

I am going to look over the responses and create the Varsity practice accordingly to what the expectations of the swimmers are.

I target my practices towards the fastest and highest reaching swimmers, which I expect everyone in the group to be along with us. The swimmers who cannot keep up, or have less of a desire to work hard should be training in the JV Group despite what level you may swim at the swim meets. This will benefit all parties involved as a swimmer will get more from a practice that is suited more towards their speed and work ethic.

Note: Since I expect my club swimmers to skew the curve on aspirations, I do ask them to attend club practices, and for me not to put those expectations on the High School group which would make the practices harder than many would desire, and possibly force the varsity practices to be too small of a group.
